Will the Global Majority Put An End to the Epstein Class’ March of Folly?

The danger of a regional war in Southwest Asia, together with the ever-present prospect of thermonuclear war erupting from either that theater or the NATO-backed Ukraine conflict, continues to turn steadily toward the worse.

The Houthi move to establish control over the Bab al-Mandeb Strait has led to various forces in Southwest Asia mobilizing to find a military solution to the problem, including the proposal that the all-so-helpful Israelis aid Saudi Arabia by providing military support against the Houthis. U.S. President Trump latest pronouncement in an Axios Interview regarding what he would do in the ongoing U.S./Israeli War with Iran is not reassuring in the slightest. He said, “I have a big decision coming up. Do I want to go in and annihilate them [Iranian leadership] or do I not? It’s a big decision. Anything could happen with me.”

These remarks were clarified by EIR Intelligence Officer and Ibero-American Intelligence Director Dennis Small on yesterday’s 172nd meeting of the International Peace Coalition, “I’d like to slightly correct the President of the United States, the proper question to be asked is, “Anything could happen to me,” because he is not the master of the fate which is determining his situation, nor that of the entire world. And this is seen very, very clearly in the situation around Iran.”

In remarks prior to the formal summit of the BRICS nations on Sept. 12 and 13th, Russian President Vladimir Putin contextualized the increasing danger of all-out war with the follies of the Epstein Class, or the “Golden Billion” in the West. He said, “All that is now happening across Europe as a whole is the consequence of systemic errors committed by the so-called West, or to be more precise, by the globalist circles of the West in the political, security, and economic spheres. They perceive themselves as standing atop the summit of Mount Olympus and evidently concluded that firstly, they were permitted everything, and secondly, that they themselves were incapable of error. From then on, mistakes began to accumulate and snowball.” Putin concluded with what the consequences of those actions would be if not changed, “Nonetheless, they persist in this course. Now they speak of contemplating the dispatch of troops to the territory of Ukraine. This would mean war with Russia. This would mean war with Russia. And I presume that European citizens understand what is unfolding.”

The “March to Folly” pursued by the Trumps, Burnhams, Carneys, and others of their ilk is unfolding alongside an equally consequential shift in the world order. Even as this march threatens to produce ever more catastrophic consequences, its ambitions are increasingly being overtaken by the rise of the Global Majority—represented by BRICS, the SCO, and other multilateral institutions—seeking to shape a world organized less around confrontation and containment than around development, sovereignty, and mutually beneficial cooperation.

Attempts to contain these emerging alignments through geopolitical pressure, or isolation, is failing miserably, as seen by the recent BRICS summit in New Delhi, India. To the chagrin of George Soros’s colleague and fellow monetarist, Scott Bessent, there was no isolation of Iran. On the contrary, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian engaged with a group representing some four billion people, forging trade agreements and broader economic arrangements with numerous nations. China and India, despite their many differences and the complexity of their relations over the years, likewise committed to the mutual development of each of their respective countries.

The choice between thermonuclear war, or a new security and development architecture, which is really based on the American System of Alexander Hamilton, John Quincy Adams, and Abraham Lincoln—which opposes colonialism, economic slavery, and military supremacy—confronts the American citizenry today. Will we stand in solidarity with the Global South, who now evoke the American System we once held up to nations around the world in our better days? Will we drive the Epstein Class out of the corridors of power?
