80th Anniversary of Victory: World War II in the Pacific

On September 3, China will be celebrating the end of WWII in the Pacific with a huge military parade in Beijing.  Helga Zepp-LaRouche has urged that President Trump would accept an invitation from Chinese President Xi Jinping to join Xi, and Russian President Vladimir Putin in celebrating the defeat of fascism in the Pacific Theater.  

Tonight's Symposium featuring EIR writer and long time LaRouche Associate William Jones will take up the important history of World War II in the Pacific.  Sadly, today, most Americans know very little about the history of World War II, and what little they might know is focussed on the European Theater and the defeat of Hitler's Nazi regime in Germany.

If we are going to succeed in making war a thing of the past, it is urgent to learn the lessons of past wars, and how they could have been prevented.
