China’s Sub Launch and Nuclear Tensions

40 nations joined the US to condemn China’s ICBM dummy nuclear warhead from a submarine last month, as part of testing its nuclear triad. With no existing arms control agreements, these criticisms are baseless, but as Russian and Chinese experts warn, are a part of NATO’s attempt to control all decisions on testing and deployment of nuclear weapons—"rules for thee, but not for me." A Russian expert said: “This is nothing but the next stage of preparations for a potential large-scale global conflict.” In this context, a spokesman for the IRGC suggested that if the US uses nuclear weapons, all their bases around the world will be occupied the following morning. While that may be simply rhetoric from Iran, it nonetheless indicates the tensions facing the world as the British directed NATO demands hegemony. It is now time to put the City of London through bankruptcy reorganization, and seek peace through development—a topic that will be taken up in the Sept. 4th EIR roundtable: “An Alternative to War and Looting in the Americas.”
