So, Who Did Order Kiev’s Drone Attack on Russia’s Nuclear Bombers, and Why?
June 7, 2025 (EIRNS)--With growing precision, Russian diplomatic and intelligence officials have been pointing the finger at London, and at British intelligence circles in particular, for principal responsibility for the remote-control guidance of Kiev’s provocative attacks on Russia’s nuclear bomber fleet, as well as the May 20 drone attack on President Putin’s helicopter as he traveled to Kursk region.
Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova warned friendly states on June 5 against “flirting with the British,” since they “interfere in the internal affairs of other states, directly threatening their sovereignty and territorial integrity.” Veteran intelligence expert SVR Lt. Gen. (ret.) Leonid Reshetnikov [told Sputnik] that British intelligence has been out to destroy Russia for centuries, and that they are far more sophisticated and dangerous than the CIA.
And on June 6, Russian military expert Dmitry Kornev argued in [an analysis published in RT] that the June 1 drone strikes “blended high-tech sabotage, covert infiltration, and satellite-guided timing with the kind of precision that only the world’s most advanced intelligence networks can deliver.” He explained that the Kiev regime “is deeply embedded within NATO’s intelligence-sharing architecture.... Kiev draws primarily on NATO-provided data, supplementing it with its own domestic sources where it can.”
Nor should it be forgotten that U.S. President Trump has himself been targeted for removal by British intelligence sources (such as in the infamous 2017 Steele Dossier) and their complicit neocon allies in the United States—not to mention the two more recent actual assassination attempts in 2024. And on May 15, 2025, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard went on national TV to accuse former FBI Director James Comey of calling for the assassination of President Trump again now.
In short, the world today is midstream in a continuing British-run operation to decapitate the governments of both Russia and the United States, and to unleash a nuclear confrontation between the two superpowers.
[As Lyndon LaRouche warned] back in 2001, in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks: “Although the telephone conversation, as repeatedly reported publicly by President Bush, between Bush and Russia’s President Putin, resulted in a failure of the initial nuclear-strategic aims of the attempted coup d’état, the perpetrators of that attempted coup are still roaming free, are still lurking within the high-ranking positions they held on the early morning of Sept. 11, and are still poised to strike, menacing the U.S. government and President, even still today.”
That is precisely the situation we face still today.
