End Pentagon Nuke Plans with Disarmament Summit

In light of the Pentagon's intent to update their nuclear warfighting doctrine to include the "liberal" deployment of tactical nuclear weapons early, or preemptively, in any conflict with Russia or China, a new trilateral summit on strategic stability must occur between Presidents Trump, Xi and Putin. Such a call was made by Jack Gilroy of Pax Christi New York State (as well as Veterans for Peace and the International Peace Coalition (IPC) of the Schiller Institute), as his letter, with many endorsements, calls for Archbishop Wester, a longstanding advocate of nuclear disarmament, to call on Pope Leo XIV to take that lead- something the Vatican has done at other crisis points, like the Cuban Missile Crisis. Upcoming meetings in Moscow by Vatican representatives could take that call up, and the IPC is mobilizing for action in the United States to move Trump in that direction. Join the IPC today:
