Netanyahu Proclaims Intent to Make Israel a "Super Sparta"

With international opinion turned against Netanyahu's scorched earth policy in Gaza -- which a U.N. Commission reported yesterday to be genocide -- he told American legislators that Israel will become a "Super Sparta".  A link is below for access to a famous essay by Schiller highly critical of Sparta.  This reasonable piece will have no effect on Bibi, but should offer a guide to rational human beings on the proper design for national policy.  A potentially hopeful sign is that President Trump will speak with China's President Xi on Friday.  Diplomacy, anyone?
