Oct. 21, 2025 (EIRNS)—On Saturday, Oct. 18, millions of Americans and a few thousand other confused protesters in other nations, took to the streets, supposedly to protest the policies of “authoritarian” U.S. President Donald Trump.
These well-funded rallies began several months ago—actually began years ago, after what was to them Trump’s surprising defeat of Hillary Clinton. They have nothing to say about the genocide in Gaza, nor the potential for peace in Southwest Asia, and they have explicitly called for continuing to arm Ukraine for war with Russia. (Remember “Hands off NATO” from a few months ago?)
Such genocidal warmongers as Hillary Clinton have endorsed the campaign, tweeting, “Join No Kings this Saturday at an event near you to push back against Trump’s power grabs, and make it clear—we don’t do monarchs here.”
Snake oil salesman Bernie Sanders, whose election was stolen by Clinton (as he must have known from her leaked emails), but who endorsed her anyway, sent out a fundraising letter the day after the rallies, which included the text of his speech to the more than 100,000 gathered in Washington, D.C. for the occasion.
Apparently, National Public Radio played his sophistical speech repeatedly throughout the day on Oct. 19 as well.

We’re here because we’re going to do everything we can to honor the sacrifices of millions of men and women who, over the last 250 years, fought and sometimes died to defend our democracy and our freedoms….
And today, in 2025, in this dangerous moment in American history, our message is exactly the same. No, President Trump, we don’t want you or any other king to rule us. Thank you very much, but we will maintain our democratic form of society. We will not move toward authoritarianism. In America, We the People will rule….
It is in danger when we have a president who claims that peaceful protest in Portland, OR or Chicago, IL is an ‘insurrection’ and calls in the U.S. military….
It is in danger when we have masked agents working for ICE breaking down doors….
It is in danger when we have a president who sues and intimidates the media….
Our country is in danger when we have a president who threatens to arrest or imprison political opponents….
But let’s be clear: This is not just about one man’s greed, one man’s corruption or one man’s contempt for our Constitution. This is about a handful of the wealthiest people on earth….
Yes. I’m talking about Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg and the other multi-billionaires who were sitting right behind Donald Trump when he was inaugurated….
And why? Why are the Republicans making a broken health care system, a dysfunctional health care system, even worse? Why are they bringing our health care system to the verge of collapse?…
What Bernie and none of the organizers of this fake opposition movement fail to mention is that the dictatorship began long before Donald Trump. It began with the Democratic Party’s collusion with racist hate groups like the Anti-Defamation League, and the news media, to silence America’s greatest statesman, Lyndon LaRouche.
The purpose of this fake “opposition movement,” is to “divide and conquer” the United States on behalf of the British Empire on the 250th anniversary of its Declaration of Independence.
Remember, this is the crowd that gave us “Obamacare,” which Lyndon LaRouche rightly denounced as a Schachtian “useless eaters” approach to cost cutting, by denying care to those deemed not worth to invest in. Obamacare dropped all pretense of a public option and gouged the middle class with very high premiums and deductibles, while hospitals continued to close across the nation at a catastrophic rate. These are the very people who abandoned Medicare for All.
This crowd and their Anglo-American intelligence agency backers ran the most amazing censorship campaign in American history, when they threw then-President Trump off from Facebook and Twitter months before the 2020 presidential election, and even took the New York Post off Twitter for the Hunter Biden laptop story, claiming that it was a Russian disinformation campaign, when they knew it was real.
These people consolidated their censorship campaign in 1986, when their mentors shut down most LaRouche-affiliated publications, such as War on Drugs, Fusion, and New Solidarity, in a bankruptcy operation later ruled to be “fraud upon this court.”
The very people protesting Trump now were the perpetrators of the Russiagate hoax that led to the bloody and unnecessary Ukraine war, and were the facilitators of Israeli genocide against the Palestinian people.
Exposing the “No Kings” pro-British Empire mob as a fraud, does not require one to defend the destructive and unconstitutional policies of the Trump administration, particularly with regard to domestic policies.
However, true patriots would be searching for the potential embedded in President Trump’s desire to talk to President Vladimir Putin in order to end the Ukraine-Russia war, and his willingness to force Bibi Netanyahu to negotiate with Hamas and end the slaughter of the Palestinian people.
