Pressure Building on Trump to End Wars

A confluence of diplomacy from the Global South and political pressure from the U.S. provided a brief respite from war last weekend.  Zelensky was forced to back off from his threat to attack the victory Day celebrations in Moscow, and Trump backed away from his "Project Freedom" threat to blockade the Strait of Hormuz.  Can these singular moments, produced by coordinated actions, lead to a lasting peace?  Or will things default back to Permanent War?
