Rubio Gives Green Light for Civil War in Lebanon
The announcement in Beirut Saturday of an agreement between Lebanon and Israel for a ceasefire in Lebanon opened the door for a bloody civil war in Lebanon. Placing the blame for fighting there on Hezbollah, Rubio -- with no mention of repeated violations by Israel -- gave Israel the right to move the Lebanese army into areas now protected by Hezbollah, and said that Israel has the right to intervene. The acceptance of this by the puppet government of Lebanon sets the stage for a böoody civil war, and trashes the MoU which includes Lebanon in the ceasefire. The blood of Lebanese civilians killed as a result of this agreement will be on the hands of Trump, Rubio, Netanyahu and the Lebanese government.
