The Courage to Be Optimistic

What to do when faced with two bad, unacceptable choices?  Go with the third!  Humans have the creative power to find a solution outside the bubble of bad choices, and the free will to fight for it.  That is, in fact, what distinguishes human beings from the rest of living beings -- we can reject the axioms that lead to chaos, and replace them.  The present moment is ripe for that kind of change, as there is a transition underway, a break from the imperial system, to a system of mutual benefit.  Give up the chains that pessimism have placed on your mind.
