The Silence Has Been Broken, Genocide May Now Be Said: What’s Next
We are at a point of intense crisis and transition. A major tipping point may have been reached in the situation in Gaza, as the silence has been broken on the unfolding humanitarian catastrophe–the intentional policy of genocide by Israel–that is taking place, with photos of starving and dying children provoking many to tears, and to speak up. The taboo has been broken and the word Genocide may now be used. What will happen next?
Developments in the Middle East are occurring in a WORLD in transition. The BRICS nations continue to develop– including China, and including Russia, whose alleged crime of Russiagate has now been exposed as a lie, opening a potential for improved relations with the West. The western hegemonic system is failing. The US economy and economies in Europe are blowing out because *physical reality*- the requirements for water, power, transportation–are economics, not money.
In tonight’s report we will report on work of the ILM over the past week to intervene on all of these domains.
Highlights of tonight’s report include:
- TLO campaigns near the United Nations (NYC) Monday and Tuesday alongside a conference on a two-state solution for Israel/Palestine. Chris Sare gives an “on-the-ground” report, and we see Jason Ross speaking over microphone during the rally on "It is NOT too late for Palestine!".
