The U.S. Was NOT Created to Be an Empire!

The "self-evident truths" which guided the Founding Fathers in their revolutionary decision to fight for independence from the British Empire are easily discovered by reading the Declaration of Independence, which was ratified on July 4 250 years ago.  To honor their accomplishment, take the time to read the Declaration this July 4, and become an active participant in self-government, which that document gives you the right, and the responsibility, to be.
