Transforming the World Order

The international LaRouche movement participated and intervened this week into two major areas of potential transformation of the world order: the meeting of the US and Chinese Presidents and the activities of Pope Leo XIV to promote peace.

First we will review this week’s meeting of US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Xinping, as EIR’s Bill Jones Tells CGTN His Views on the Just-Concluded Xi-Trump Summit. US independent candidate for President Diane Sare issued her own congratulations to the world leaders for that meeting.

The LaRouche movement was also present this week both in Paris–amidst the visit of Pope Leo XIV–and in Manhattan NYC–and near the United Nations General Assembly, in both cases interjecting the proposal by the Schiller Institute’s “Appeal to Pope Leo XIV To Organize a Global Leaders Summit To Address the Questions of Peace and Nuclear Disarmament.” Click that link to check out the updated list of signers.
