Trump Becomes Herbert Hoover
It was 4 weeks ago today that Trump said that he did not want to be the new Herbert Hoover, and therefore, would sign the Memorandum of Understanding for a ceasefire with Iran. Whether a ceasefire can be revived or not, the global economy is now in an even more perilous situation. Hoover did not cause the speculative bubble that burst the year he entered office in 1929, and nor did Trump create the "everything bubble" that is set to burst today. With the resumption of the war, Trump will go down as Hoover, unless he takes a page from Franklin D. Roosevelt and Lyndon LaRouche.
