Why Preserving Truthful Historical Memory is Essential for Peace
What follows is a video presentation by Harley Schlanger, delivered today, September 18, at a Conference of the World Peoples Assembly in Moscow. It is for a panel on the importance of preserving historical truth as a basis for peace.
The theme of the conference is "New World: Values That Unite."
The two-day event is expected to draw more than 5,000 participants from more than 150 countries. Harley was invited to speak as the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Schiller Institute.
